1、 Product execution standards
1. GB/T 12706.1-2020 Power cables with extruded insulation and accessories for rated voltages from 1kV (Um=1.2kV) to 35kV (Um=40.5kV) - Part 1: Cables with rated voltages of 1kV (Um=1.2kV) and 3kV (Um=3.6kV)
2. GB/T 19666-2019 General rules for flame retardant and fire-resistant cables (applicable only to flame retardant and fire-resistant cables)
2、 Product features
1. Usage conditions
Rated working voltage: 0.6/1 (1.2) kV;
Cable laying temperature: ≥ 0 ℃;
The maximum long-term working temperature allowed for cable conductors: PVC insulation: 70 ℃, XLPE insulation: 90 ℃;
The maximum working temperature of the cable during short circuit (maximum 5 seconds): XLPE insulation at 250 ℃; PVC insulation: cross-sectional area ≤ 300mm ², 160 ℃, cross-sectional area>300mm ², 140 ℃;
The minimum allowable bending radius of cables: 20D for single core without armor, 15D for single core with armor, 15D for three core without armor, and 12D for three core with armor. Note: D represents the actual outer diameter of the cable.
2. Structural requirements
The basic structure of a 1kV extruded insulated power cable consists of three parts: conductor, insulation layer, and protective layer.
1) Conductors
The conductor is made of twisted copper or aluminum wire, which meets the requirements of GB/T 3956-2008 standard. A conductor is the conductive part of a power cable used to transport electrical energy
2) Insulation
Insulation is extruded using PVC or XLPE. Electrically isolate the wire cores from the ground and wires of different phases to ensure the transmission of electrical energy.
3) Outer sheath
The outer sheath is made of PE or PVC, and materials such as flame retardant, anti termite, low smoke low halogen flame retardant, and low smoke halogen-free flame retardant can also be provided according to customer requirements. The function is to protect power cables from external impurities and moisture intrusion, as well as prevent direct damage to power cables by external forces.
